This area is undergoing a substantial revival. New businesses are constantly opening in the area. Within walking distance there are plenty of interesting shops, the St. Regis Hotel and the Fisher Theatre. Also, the New Center Area is home to the Comerica TasteFest held in July. Nearby, you'll find top ranked Wayne State University, the Detroit Medical Center, the College for Creative Studies, and the Detroit Science Center.

Immerse yourself in Detroit's Cultural Center - home of the Main Branch of the Detroit Public Library, whose collections must be seen to be appreciated, including the world-famous Burton Historical Collection. Right across the street from the library is the Detroit Institute of Arts, with its world-class collection of art and numerous special special traveling exhibits. You can also visit the Detroit Historical Museum or the Museum of African-American History, the world's largest, is located three blocks further away.

New Center Plaza Within just two miles, you can find yourself enjoying one of the city's entertainment districts where the Fox Theatre and Second City are located. From there, you can walk over to the Detroit Tigers' new ballpark, and check out the Lions' Ford Field stadium.
