Immerse yourself in Detroit's Cultural Center - home of the Main Branch of the Detroit Public Library, whose collections must be seen to be appreciated, including the world-famous Burton Historical Collection. Right across the street from the library is the Detroit Institute of Arts, with its world-class collection of art and numerous special special traveling exhibits. You can also visit the Detroit Historical Museum or the Museum of African-American History, the world's largest, is located three blocks further away.
